Desolate Road
This shot was taken early one morning (about 1:34am).
Christmas with Dad and the boys
Just a couple photos at Christmas time.
Abandoned
It’s been quite a while since I posted anything. Way too long.
This boat looks so lonely, as if it hasn’t seen water in a long time. Yet, if you look in the background you can see the water, beckoning the craft to come back. You can see that the boat hasn’t been licensed since 2007.
Fishing
This HDR photo of my two youngest sons fishing on Long Lake just jumps out at me. I love how this one came out.
Yellow lady’s slipper (Cypripedium calceolus)

One to two flowers per stem; flowers with conspicuous yellow inflated pouch (or lady?s slipper); bloom in May-June. Found most often in mesic (moderate moisture) hardwoods and conifer swamps, occasionally in roadside ditches.
